FLEMINGTON, NJ, JUNE 1, 2009 – SAFE in Hunterdon will host “An Evening of Awareness,” an elegant evening honoring Joe and Jeannie
Colalillo, on Thursday, October 29, 2009, at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, NJ. At this Helping Hands Healing Hearts event, we
will join together as a community to celebrate and recognize the enduring strength of individuals who have suffered violence in their lives.

“Joe and Jeannie Colalillo are the epitome of community leaders,” said Patricia Warner-Proctor, chairperson of the board of trustees. “They are
active and strong supporters of the Flemington Food Pantry, local hospitals and SAFE in Hunterdon, and are always willing to contribute in
some way to the organizations, churches and community groups throughout Hunterdon County. We are thrilled to be able to honor them with
this premier event.”

Joe and Jeannie Colalillo reside in Delaware Township with their four children: Sam, 20, Ben, 16, Grace, 9, and Vincent, 7. Joe is owner and
president of ShopRite of Hunterdon County, Inc.  Founded in 1958 by Joe’s father, the company operates three ShopRite supermarkets in
Hunterdon and Warren counties. Joe is also chairman of the board and CEO of Wakefern Food Corporation in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and is on
the board of directors of the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) and the Hunterdon County board of Team Capital Bank. Among her many
ventures, Jeannie is an honorary board member of SAFE in Hunterdon and president of the Delaware Township School PTA .

Judy Dilts is heading up the event planning committee and invites local businesses and corporations to participate as event sponsors.

“There are several opportunities to participate in this tribute while financially addressing the issues of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Supporters can make a positive impact on individuals, families and the community by attending the event and through corporate sponsorships
and advertising opportunities,” said Judy. To participate, please call Andrea Lovas at (908) 788-7666, x213, or visit the agency website at www.
