Volunteer Qualifications

Volunteers must be 21 years of age or older and must successfully complete requirements including submitting an application, reference checks, background check and successfully complete SAFE in Hunterdon's (or another NJ Domestic/Sexual Violence agency's) mandatory Victim Counselor training program.

Volunteers under the age of 21 who wish to help may opt to conduct donation drives for needed supplies or join the SAFE in Hunterdon team for the annual NJCASA 5K. Call for details!

 

Volunteers provide valuable services toward accomplishing the mission of SAFE in Hunterdon. In 2017, 13,037 hours of volunteer service were provided to the agency including, DVRT/SART call-outs, renovation projects, design projects and more. Thank you for your interest!
