While we appreciate the spirit of re-purposing both household items, clothing and furniture, we ask that all donations to SAFE be new. If you have gently-used items that you wish to donate, please consider The Consignment Shop (for Women’s Crisis Services), 160 Main Street, Flemington.

General Items

Used clothes. We recommend that donors bring used clothes to the Consignment Shop on Main Street which donates a portion of its sales to SAFE in Hunterdon.

Food. We do not have the capacity to store food donations. Donors are encouraged to donate food to the Flemington Food Pantry or Norwescap, where SAFE in Hunterdon clients are sent for food when needed.

Used Toys. Consider donating used toys to places such as Goodwill or Salvation Army, which will often resell the toys and put any proceeds they collect from the sale into programs that benefit the community.
